Steve's numismatic collecting interests began in the late 1960's around the age of 8, with his paper route providing the opportunity to scan change for interesting coins. At the very small-town Nebraska elementary school Steve attended at this time, he remembers sitting on the school steps during recess and looking through the one or two penny rolls he could afford per outing. Fast forward to the college years when Steve first attended a few coin shows, the inequalities involved in some dealers' buy versus sell prices seemed to beg for someone to do it better. Thus, began four decades of serving the numismatic community.
